Our business, Bee Seen Events, has proudly sponsored Stars of Penrith Dance for Cancer for the past two years and in 2026, I’m thrilled to be taking it a step further by joining as a Star! 

Cancer has touched both my family and my partner’s family in many ways. Some of our loved ones are still receiving treatment, while others we’ve sadly lost. I’m dancing in honour of all of them, to celebrate their strength, to show that we never give up, and to help raise awareness and funds for everyone facing this battle. 

Through my work in public speaking and regularly MC’ing events, I’ve developed confidence, determination, and a willingness to step outside my comfort zone. Qualities I hope will help me shine on the dance floor. I’m a little nervous about keeping up with choreography and making sure my knee holds up, but I’m excited to give it everything I’ve got and enjoy every moment! 

My love of dance began as a child when I performed with a local dance school. These days, I still love to dance, especially with my energetic five-year-old son, Logan. 

My goal is to raise $10,000 for the Cancer Council through community events, local business support, and creative fundraisers, all while having fun and dancing for a cause close to my heart.

Amanda Steps Into the Spotlight for Stars of Penrith 2025

This year, something pretty special is happening behind the scenes at Bee Seen Events — our very own Amanda is taking the stage for Stars of Penrith 2026 dancing her heart out to raise funds for the incredible work of the Cancer Care Foundation.

If you know Amanda, you already know she’s determined, passionate, and somehow juggling ten things at once without dropping a beat. But this challenge hits different. Between weddings, formals, late-night edits, and running Bee Seen with Adam, she’s dedicating her evenings to training, fundraising, and learning a full performance routine — all to help support local families facing cancer.

Amanda’s fundraising goal is $10,000, and she’s throwing everything at it: social media campaigns, chocolate drives, community BBQs, car and bike runs, raffles, and every creative idea she can cram into a very short timeframe. She’s committed, she’s pumped, and yes — she’s a tiny bit terrified. But in true Amanda style, she’s showing up anyway.

Why does it matter?
Because this event directly supports people right here in our community who are going through one of the hardest journeys imaginable. Every dollar raised helps provide comfort, care, and support when families need it most.

We’re incredibly proud of Amanda for stepping outside her comfort zone and doing something meaningful on behalf of Bee Seen Events. She’s not just dancing — she’s making a difference.

If you’d like to support her journey, cheer her on, or get involved in the fundraising, we’d love to have you on the ride with us. The community has always backed Bee Seen Events, and now we’re asking for a little of that love for Amanda too.
