Anastasia Katharios

Stars of Sydney South West 2024

Anastasia believes life is not meant to be lived individually but in connection with others, providing help and support for people is something she continuously seeks to do as a proactive member of the community. With her family business moving to Chipping Norton in 2015, she devoted herself to helping expand the company the following year. Anastasia is now running her family business as part-owner and is thoroughly enjoying her role at Pump and Pool People. She began rhythmic gymnastics at six years old and went on to compete and perform for another 13 years. During this time, she has also pursued ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary dance. Partnering in the Stars of Sydney South-West Charity Gala she is excited to challenge herself and perform before an audience again. She is looking forward to meeting new people and businesses on this journey and is thrilled to be involved in a positive community initiative.

Cancer does not discriminate, it is something that we will all unfortunately be affected by at one point in our life with someone that we might know. For you to take a special interest in this cause, humbles me as I have experienced this first hand and to know that this can help people like it did for me and help preserve life.
