Andrew Webb

Stars of Wollongong 2026

⭐MEET THE STAR⭐

Andrew Webb is the founder and driving force behind Webb Financial, a comprehensive financial services firm offering accounting, taxation, financial planning, lending, and finance solutions. Known for his capable, individual, and resilient approach, Andrew has built a business grounded in trust, expertise, and genuine care for his clients.

While for Andrew cancer has not personally touched his immediate family, he often walks alongside clients who find themselves facing lifechanging diagnoses. In these moments—when people are overwhelmed, scared, and forced to make difficult decisions—the Webb Financial team step in to help steady the ground beneath them. By easing the stress and burden of complex financial choices, he supports clients through some of their most challenging chapters. His involvement in Stars of Wollongong is, in many ways, an extension of this role: a way to honour their journeys and contribute to a cause that deeply matters.

When it comes to strengths, Andrew keeps it simple: strength is his strength. With a front rower’s build, over 300 local rugby union games under his belt, and a knack for embracing unusual challenges head on, he’s prepared to throw himself into the experience.

His biggest worry? Not being able to devote enough time to training or deliver his absolute best on the night—but his determination suggests otherwise.

Dance experience? Let’s say… limited. His go to move in the 90s was the “lawnmower”—mercifully in the pre smart phone era—and Love Shack remains a guaranteed dancefloor motivator. But what he lacks in rhythm and choreography, he makes up for in humour and grit.

 Fun Facts About Andrew

  • Father to 3 gorgeous kids

  • He once competed in rodeo bull riding as a teenager.

  • Lifted 100 tonnes in a day (Lifting for Autism challenge)

  • His favourite childhood TV show was The A Team.

His dream dance partner? His daughter would be extremely impressed if he hit the floor with Taylor Swift to shake it off!

Inspired by his charity boxing stage name, Andrew “The Funnel” Webb, he jokes that maybe he needs a dance move to match… though his dance teacher may put the kibosh on this idea.

Andrew’s fundraising efforts will tap into his extensive business, rugby, and boxing networks, and he’s aiming high.
