I am a creative chameleon and social butterfly with a BIG love of connection. Growing up in Port Stephens with 4 siblings, we were fortunate to be blessed with adventurous parents who instilled in us the very same sense of adventure and creativity. I entered a career in travel and aviation and experienced the big wide world and finally settled in the small country town of Stroud, where I found my forever tribe, "The Stroud Queens"; imprinting the importance of friendship and connection in our everyday lives!
With a big life-change, having moved to Maitland 5 years ago to leafy Lorn, I quickly fell in love with a new community, and a passion for our city with it's quirky "not so straight houses" and secret garden's. I now work supporting the Maitland Business Chamber connecting our wonderful local business network.
The first 2 loves of my life are my 2 beautiful children, Molly and Sam, followed by my next big love who is a musician and songwriter. We live in an old federation with our treasured dog Teddy under a constant haze of renovation dust, where I not only paint walls but develop my skills as an artist with a love for colour. Creativity rocks my world, it is my go to, all time rescue remedy and inner sanctuary to calm my very busy brain!
Like most of us, my inner circle has been impacted by loss and cancer. Grandparents, aunties, friends! All people I love and admire deeply. In 2018 my sister was rushed to hospital, had major emergency surgery and was given the prognosis of Ovarian Cancer. With few prior symptoms she initially thought she had just been stressed and overworked. This particular cancer was extremely rare and with no treatment recommended, the prognosis was not great. Fortunately her journey has been a long but lucky one through her own determination and self-care. It is my hope that more funding is allocated to Ovarian Cancer for much needed support and earlier detection for all women.
So, let's hit the dancefloor, raise some money to save our tribe and enjoy some laughs when I forget my steps and need to improvise!

A feel-good festival for the Cancer Council this March in MAITLAND!
This one’s all about music, colour, sunset energy and community — with a powerful purpose at its heart.
We’re throwing a Sunset Fiesta on the Green, a pop-up festival experience in support of the Cancer Council’s Stars Dance for Cancer, proudly backing our Maitland star, Belinda O'Bryan as she dances her way toward the main event this May.

Every ticket, every raffle and every bid on the day goes straight into her Stars Dance for Cancer fundraising tally, helping fund life-saving research, prevention and support services for those impacted by cancer.
