⭐ Meet Bridget Bennett ⭐

I’ve decided to join Dancing with the Stars Penrith to honor the courage and resilience of those I've had the privilege to care for as a Radiation Therapist. Most of us have loved-ones, or know someone who has been affected by cancer, and what better way to raise awareness than by swapping my Radiation Therapy badge for my dancing shoes!

I’ll be dancing for my loved ones who’ve bravely fought cancer, and for the patients who inspire me with their strength and determination. I’m hoping to shine a light on the impact of cancer and the importance of early detection, and this is an incredible cause that contributes to vital research and makes a tangible difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. And dancing for a cure? You know I'm all in!

I'm a small-town country girl turned Penrith resident, living my best life in the big city! Growing up on a farm has taught me the importance of hard work, resilience and compassion - and also how to wrangle a rogue cow or two. Now working as a Radiation Therapist in Penrith for the past 5 years, I get to combine my love of helping others with my passion for kicking cancer to the curb! Speaking of curbs, I’ve hit a few in my time, but I’m hoping my dancing is better than my driving!

I'm a social butterfly, that's always ready to party and when I'm not treating cancer patients, you can find me brunching with friends, or busting some moves at the club. Country roots, city vibes, and a whole lot of shenanigans! I'm a firm believer that life should be filled with love, laughter and adventure, and I couldn’t be more excited for the wild ride ahead!  I’ve always been a fan of a good ol’ fashion hoedown, and there’s nothing more rewarding than contributing to a life-changing cause.

I’ll be using two left feet, one cheeky smile and a whole lot of luck to dance my heart out!
