I'm participating because

I’m Cailey Walker, and in March 2026 I’ll be whisking you back to the Roaring 20s with some glamorous Gatsby inspired moves as one of the participants in Stars of Narrabri Dance for Cancer.

I’m taking part in this event to help raise vital funds and awareness for a cause that means a great deal to me. Cancer touches so many families in our region, and the money raised directly supports people right here in the northwest whether it’s transport to treatment, accommodation support, or the essential services provided by Cancer Council NSW. Every donation makes a real and immediate difference to locals going through some of their toughest moments.

I care deeply about my community, and this is my way of giving back and making a positive impact. It is also an opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone, embrace something completely new, and challenge myself while raising funds for a cause that truly matters.

Over the coming months I will be working closely with my dance partners to bring this performance to life, learning steps, refining routines, and channelling every bit of 1920s sparkle I can muster. Your support means the world to me, whether it is donating, sharing my page, or cheering from the audience on the night.

Thank you for getting behind me and for supporting an organisation that does so much good for our community. Let’s raise as much as we can for Cancer Council NSW.

Trivia night 🤍

I’m still a little speechless at the incredible turnout for my trivia night last night! 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, donated, supported, and (hopefully) had a great night. All for such an important cause that touches so many of our hearts. The support from my work colleagues, friends, family, and our amazing community means more than I can say.

Special shout-outs to Alana Galagher & Kate Dixon I couldn’t have done it without you. The girls at Namoi Care Connect have gone above and beyond over the last few weeks helping organise everything and I’m so grateful.

Massive thanks to my MC/auctioneer Dylan Dixon for the incredible hustling. We definitely wouldn’t have raised half as much without you! 👏

Civeo Narrabri Village put on a fabulous meal for us all a huge thank you to you aswell 💛

Thank you also to Lan, Robert Downey & Roxanne Bushby Whitton for safely driving everyone to and from the Golf Club, and to Anna, Ducko, Dick and the Golf Club committee for being such fantastic hosts.

Together we raised an amazing $5,468! 🎉

Now the countdown is on until I bust out my two left feet and a few good old Charleston steps at the Narrabri Dance for Cancer 2026 💃

Cancer Council Mega Raffle and Trivia Night

I’m hosting a Monster Trivia Night on March 6th at the Wee Waa Golf Club to support Stars of Narrabri Dance for Cancer 2026, and I’d love for you to join me for a night of glitz, glamour, and fun! Dress to impress in your best Roaring 20s attire, as there will be prizes for the best dressed.

Tickets are $25 each or $150 for a table of eight, and you can grab them via the QR code on the poster. I’m also running a huge Monster Raffle with over 30 amazing prizes, including locally sourced lamb and EFTPOS gift cards, with every dollar raised going straight to the Cancer Council.

Transport is available from Wee Waa and Narrabri, but must be pre-booked, so plan ahead to enjoy the night stress-free. I can’t wait to see everyone sparkle, have a blast, and support this incredible cause. Together, we’re making a real difference in our community!
