There has always been cancer in my life, from both grandfathers who died before my birth, to my mother, who died over 40 years ago from ovarian cancer. I have lost dear friends to cancer and have other friends with cancer right now. We are all touched by cancer. I would also like to challenge myself before my next birthday 😉
About me…
Little did I know, when I was learning to surf at Manly as a child, that I would be living in Manly all these decades later. What a great place to retire to! I grew up watching Fred Astaire, dancing with wonderful ladies, looking glamourous, and wished I could emulate them, so I’m grabbing the chance to do that before my next birthday, my 70th birthday, and even if I look foolish, I will show my kids and grandkids that raising money for a good cause is important, and so is chasing a dream.
