Cindy Richards

Stars of Casino 2024

Cindy, has always had strong ties to the Casino community.

Born and raised in Casino, her enthusiasm for the region's lifestyle and culture has been evident since her early years. After a decade of exploring city life in Sydney, Cindy returned to her beloved hometown, where she embarked on a remarkable 26-year career in Real Estate and motherhood, single-handedly raising two children

Her journey in Real Estate not only showcased her professional acumen but also highlighted her unwavering commitment to serving her community. Cindy's dedication to Casino and its residents goes beyond the realm of business. She actively engages in various community initiatives. Currently, she lends her time and support to the Casino Beef Week Committee, contributing to the success of one of the region's most celebrated events. In addition to her involvement in the Beef Week festivities, Cindy is determined to revive the Casino Basketball Association in collaboration with the prestigious Sydney Kings. Her vision for promoting sports and recreational activities aligns seamlessly with her commitment to nurturing a thriving and united community.

Cindy, a single mother of two, recently has mourned the loss of her dear friend Kim Owen Williams, who valiantly battled cancer for a decade.

Cindy's family and friends have been touched by breast cancer, resulting in the loss of several loved ones. Witnessing her best friend's mother endure gruelling treatments, albeit successfully, was a challenging experience.

In light of these experiences, Cindy is eager to contribute to the Cancer Council's mission of raising awareness and promoting prevention strategies for cancer. She is willing to go to great lengths, even if it means stepping out of her comfort zone, to support fundraising efforts for this cause.
