Dancing for a cure
Claire is originally from the far South Coast but has called Trangie home for decades. She is happily married to Tim and is mother of three grown up children, who all return home regularly and happily come on family holidays – especially if the parents are paying!
Claire works as an Assistant Accountant at an accountancy firm in Trangie. When she's not crunching numbers Claire can be found in the great outdoors with Tim where they enjoy camping, canoeing and the occasional accidental bike ride.
She also enjoys photography and her sport of choice is squash.
Claire is more of a free-style dancer and has trouble remembering the moves to the Nutbush, so is a little nervous of the dance section of this adventure – which she says is a bit concerning given the name of the event itself!
Claire has lost a sister-in-law to cancer and currently has a dear friend battling the disease and both of these events have added to her desire to fund-raise for such a worthwhile cause.
Dance Experience Studio
Dance Experience Studio offers a wonderful environment to learn dance where the emphasis is on fun! More than just a dance studio, Dance Experience is a community where students grow in confidence and self-expression, a place where we celebrate and encourage one another to do the best we can. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where students of all abilities are able to thrive.
We are thrilled to be involved for the first time in Stars of Dubbo Dance for Cancer, supporting such a worthwhile cause while having fun and showcasing the regional towns of Trangie & Warren.
Time to get cracking in the fight against cancer!I am very excited to be given the chance to raise some money for a cause that is so important.
