Darren Gossner | Aanuka Beach House
Darren Gossner has spent much of his career helping other people celebrate. This time, he’ll be the one everyone is watching.
His hospitality and events career has taken him from Brisbane to Sydney and, in 2022, to Coffs Harbour, where he now works at Aanuka Beach House. Along the way, he’s been part of award-winning work in the wedding and venue industry, bringing years of experience to occasions that mean a great deal to the people involved.
Away from work, Darren loves the beach, swimming and life on the Coffs Coast with his partner Jason and their fur babies, Brontee and Charlie. He’s also become such a keen padel player that Town Padel Coffs feels like his second home. Having dabbled in different dance styles, he’s ready to put himself to the test.
Darren’s reason for taking part is deeply personal. Cancer has claimed the lives of several relatives, including his mum, who died just six weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
He’s dancing in their memory and raising funds for Cancer Council NSW, with a special place in his heart for the jive his mum and dad loved.
