Those of you who know Dean from The Mossy Café, will know he just loves having a good ol’ chat with his customers! It’s this sense of community that he loves best about Eurobodalla. A typical day at work for Dean is usually being out on the floor, having those chats with customers, but let's not forget some of the behind the scenes work that goes on. He oversees the kitchen, decides on the café's specials, and even ensures the coffee is only ever at the highest of standards! Now, let’s throw some dancing into Dean’s ‘typical work day’. In doing so, we’ll find that Beyonce will forever be Dean’s motivation to “get up and shake it”, but his dream dance partner is none other than Jennifer Lopez! Dean has joined Stars of Eurobodalla for 2021 to spread awareness while having some fun getting out of his comfort zone.Dance Partner

Rachel PiperRachel’s love of dancing began when she begged her mum to take her to ballet at the age of 4. After many years of hard training and dedication, as well as completing her Associate Diploma in Dance Teaching, Rachel has now been working as a dance teacher for over 19 years. Along with ballet, Rachel also trained in jazz, tap and contemporary styles and has worked with the NRL as a Canberra Raiders cheerleader. Rachel is currently working at Stepz South Coast Dance Academy teaching a variety of dance lessons. When she is not at dancing, she is busy being mum to her 3 beautiful daughters. Rachel is looking forward to once again participating in Eurobodalla’s Dancing with the Stars and join the amazing fundraising efforts of the Cancer Council. |
