Putting on my dancing shoes to help fight cancer!
I'm a simple girl who loves the beach, camping, good food, bubbles and laughing with friends. My passion for people has seen me dedicate much of my career to the hospitality industry with the exception of a short stint in sales working for the legendary Paul Moltzen “Moltz” (previous Star of The Coast) at the Sun Weekly Newspaper in the late 90’s.
Moltz was an inspiration to me in many ways and imparted a lasting message … “Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”, so I did just that, followed my passion and moved into a Marketing role in the Club Industry in the early 2000’s and I have remained committed to that role since at both at Breakers Country Club and now at The Ary Toukley.
As well as being marketing focused, my role at both Breakers and The Ary has involved event, promotions and entertainment management as well as a commitment and passion to assisting local sporting and not for profit and charity organisations including The Central Coast Cancer Council.
On a personal level, I have lost several close family members and friends to cancer including her much loved sister in law who bravely battled cancer for ten years. Although full of fear having never having danced a step in my life, I am super excited to be a contestant in this year’s Stars Of The Coast and I am looking forward to rallying support from my family and friends and industry contacts to help the Central Coast Cancer Council make a difference in the lives of people suffering this awful disease.
