Dr Claudia Long

Dr Claudia Long has been a GP in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region since 2012 and has since broadened her scope as an aesthetic doctor with Port Medical Aesthetics Clinic. Passionate about holistic health, she focuses on metabolic medicine, mental health care, and skin aesthetics, a combination she describes simply as wanting everyone to feel good and look good in their own skin. Outside the clinic, Claudia holds a Third Degree Black Belt in martial arts alongside her husband, wrangles two spirited Border Collies, and cheers on her twenty-something children. She brings the same discipline, balance, and warmth to everything she does. 

Claudia's connection to cancer runs deep. Early in her medical career she worked in haematology-oncology, watching firsthand as once-untreatable diagnoses became manageable through research and clinical trials. She was profoundly shaped by the patients who bravely volunteered for those trials, giving future generations a fighting chance. In 2025, her martial arts community lost its founder, Kevin Blundell, to cancer, a man who, right to the end, volunteered for trial after trial in the hope that others might one day be cured. Claudia takes to the dance floor in honour of every trial patient she has ever known, and to help continue the fight they started.
