ELIA ELIOPOULOU is a restauranteur behind the coasts very latest gastronomic experience - Sorrento! Situated on the idyllic Brisbane Waters at Empire Bay, woodfire pizza reigns supreme here along with an amazing support act of the finest Italian food, desserts & wines always served with passion and a genuine warmth to make you feel good. 

When not serving his loyal customers Elia is a dedicated father to Sophie & Jack and lives in Terrigal. He coaches his daughter’s soccer team the mighty East Gosford Rams. 

Despite having 2 left feet, he feels absolutely privileged to be involved with a cause that is very close to his heart. Cancer has had a significant impact on Elia’s life with his mother battling the disease over 30 years ago, and he would like to honour her survival by supporting other families on the coast by reducing the impact of cancer in our community. The big C also robbed him of ever meeting his grandfather, father-in-law, and countless friends and their families have suffered greatly from this terrible disease. Elia says he will do his absolute best to raise much needed funds and awareness as he believes this is crucial in creating a tighter community that support each other and the hope towards a cancer free future for our children.

Elia will perform a JIVE routine on stage at Laycock Street Theatre on Friday 15th May with his dance partner, Lara Coffey.
