Thanks for visiting our page! We are raising money for Cancer Council, a charity that supports people going through the cancer journey. We are determined to raise as much money as possible to support this amazing charity!
We are going to be learning a dance and actually performing it in Manly! Our event is called "dancing with the stars of the beaches" So a bit like the TV show, but local and less famous people!!
I really like to support local charities, and have supported many in the past. I love the fact that this is a challenge, as I have to raise $10,000! And I have to learn a dance routine and perform it!
My Dad actually died from an aggressive form of brain cancer, and therefore this charity feels very important personally, for me to support.

About Gemma:
I am originally from the UK and have now lived in the Northern Beaches for 11 years, and I just love this area of the world. I am dancing to raise money for this important charity, and also to have some fun with my friend Sheena!! We recently started learning to dance together and it has literally brought so much fun and joy into my life! I hope to inspire others to make the most of their life, whilst making sure I also do that for myself. When My Dad died, not long after, I got divorced. I really reflected on many things about life at that time... "Am I living the life I want? Am I living a life I would be grateful to look back upon? How am I spending each day? I was also questioning if my Dad had lived the life that he wanted. Soooooo.... I really want to make the most of this one and precious life, whilst I am healthy!!! I want to dance whilst I still can, I want to move and enjoy this life experience, I want to experience all the fun and joy that this life has to offer!
I am excited to share this journey with my family friends and customers, to have a laugh ay myself and raise loads and loads of money for a very important charity!!
