Georgie Bruce

Georgie has lived in the border region her whole life, coming off a farm near Mulwala. Georgie is a full-time mum of four, the head netball coach at Corowa Rutherglen and a high school teacher who has worked in Albury, but is now based in Yarrawonga.

As a youngster, Georgie dabbled in the common dance lessons before she was quickly redirected to netball where she has had much more success.

“Stars of Border is an energetic and exciting way to raise money and awareness which suits my hyperactive personality, and I am hoping to be more than just the lanky uncoordinated one on the dance floor come May .... and if not .... I will have raised some good funds for a great cause at the least.

Raising money and awareness for great charities such as this one is rewarding. Cancer spares no one and unfortunately everyone is impacted in some way or another. Our local community at the CRFNC has been recently affected with the passing of two well-known figures which has prompted me to do my bit however small to make a difference.”

Anthony Peppers Anthony started dancing when he was 5 years old and started competing at age 7. Anthony competed for 25 years, having appeared in all major Australian finals over many age groups, the natural progression was to become a professional teacher and adjudicator having taught and adjudicated all over Australia and also in China.
