With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer, raising awareness and funds for vital research, prevention, and support services is more crucial than ever. That's why I'm honoured to participate in Stars of the North, an event that brings together community members and local personalities to light up the dance floor and raise much-needed funds for Cancer Council NSW. 

For me, becoming a Star is extremely meaningful as cancer has profoundly affected my life, having lost several family members to this devastating disease and recently having both of my living grandparents diagnosed. Their experiences have ignited my passion to make a difference and support those currently facing their own battles.
