Hayley is a mum to four wild, wonderful boys, wife to her best friend Sam and a proud small business owner.  

Hayley and Sam juggle a few businesses with big dreams of building a future for their boys that is full of adventure, love and memories. As a family they keep the boys busy with beach days, camping trips and outdoor mischief but when Hayley needs a moment to escape the chaos you will find her hiding out in her girly sanctuary, the Curve Collective; Hayley’s boutique and dress hire business that has become her creative outlet and passion project. And also where she spends alot of time with her dance partner, Charlotte who helped us convince Hayley to take our Stars stage. 

“This fundraiser is deeply personal to me. I lost my dad when I was 17 and 9 years later my baby brother-in-law. I know first-hand the pain, grief and lifelong impact that comes from losing someone you love. Cancer is one of those cruel diseases that has touched us all and this event is a way for us to come together, raise vital funds and honour those we’ve lost and those still fighting.”

About Me

Hi! I’m Hayley Young – mum to four wild, wonderful boys, wife to my best friend Sam, and a proud small business owner here in beautiful Port Macquarie. Life is full and chaotic, but it’s ours – and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Sam and I juggle a few businesses with big dreams of building a future for our boys that’s full of adventure, love and memories. As a family, we’re always on the go – beach days, camping trips, outdoor mischief – anything that keeps our boys busy (and gives me a chance to tire them out!). But when I need a moment to escape the chaos of wrestling matches and endless chatter about "bum bums" and "poo poos", you’ll find me hiding out in my girly sanctuary, The Curve Collective – my boutique and dress hire business that’s become my creative outlet and passion project.

I was born right here in Port Macquarie and let’s just say… I was a spirited teen (some might say a right royal ratbag!). After moving away to study, love brought me back to the golden sands of Port – and 17 years later, I’m still here, building a life and raising my family in this amazing community.

This fundraiser is deeply personal to me. I lost my dad when I was 17 years old, and 19 years later, we lost my baby brother-in-law. I know first-hand the pain, grief and lifelong impact that comes from losing someone you love. Cancer is one of those cruel diseases that has touched us all – whether it's someone close to us or someone we know. This event is a way to come together, raise vital funds, and honour those we’ve lost and those still fighting.

Now let’s talk about the dancing. When I was first approached, it was a very big NO. I mean, I cannot dance to save my life (although… give me a few wines, throw on a 90s/00s playlist, and suddenly I am Beyoncé). But here we are – my arm got twisted, and with a beautiful dance partner to save me from myself, and I’m all in.

So please, be kind to me, people! I’m here to have a laugh, make a bit of a fool of myself, and support a cause that truly matters. I may not have the moves – but I can bring a good time.

Give me an F, give me a U, give me an N… hint hint on the genre and because that’s what this is all about – FUN for a cause close to all of us.
