My biggest motivation for participating in Stars of Hastings is my grandmother.
My grandmother passed away from cancer in 2016. She was always one of my biggest supporters in everything in life and I know how proud she would be of me getting back on to the stage to raise money for cancer.
I also believe this will be a great way to be involved in the community, make new friends, and have a whole bunch of fun!
A bit about me - I was born and raised in Grafton as the youngest of three girls.
I grew up doing every kind of after-school activity from hockey to tennis to dance and gymnastics. I was also a very ambitious extroverted character always throwing my hand up for every opportunity.
I started my radio career at 16 at my local commercial station in Grafton. After 3 years of hard work, making connections and being a finalist for best new talent at the radio awards, I was lucky enough to land the position as the Morning announcer on Hit Mid North coast in January and have loved every minute of my new role and the Mid North Coast lifestyle.
