Jacqueline has always valued being part of the community, and since joining the committee at the Henry Lawson Theatre, she has seen firsthand how powerful it is to be “in the community, for the community.” Supporting one another is at the heart of everything they do, and she feels privileged to contribute to such an important cause as cancer research.
Earlier this year, the theatre proudly took part in Relay for Life Penrith, where they exceeded their fundraising goal, a moment that reminded Jacqueline how much can be achieved when people come together. She is truly honoured to now represent the theatre at the Stars of Penrith dance showcase and to stand alongside others in support of the Cancer Council’s mission.
A lifelong performer, classically trained in dance from childhood and now active in community theatre, Jacqueline is thrilled to bring her passion for the arts to this event. Above all, she is grateful for the opportunity to help raise funds and awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.
