Actuarial Consultant & Winner of Westfield Chatswood Local Hero Award 2021
In July 2018, I lost my beautiful sister Alana (age 14) to a rare childhood bone cancer. After her passing, my family and I pledged to keep her memory alive by raising crucial funds and awareness for all forms of cancer. This event is another opportunity to show my support to cancer research, and get the community involved to help raise funds.
About me:
I have lived in the Sydney Northern Beaches my whole life. I am heavily involved in surf lifesaving and would call Collaroy SLSC my second home! I currently work for PwC Australia as a Health & Wellbeing Actuarial Consultant, and have being working here for 1.5 years.
As mentioned earlier, I lost my beautiful sister to cancer in 2018 and have been working hard in the cancer research space since then. In 2021, I was the winner of Chatswood Westfield's Local Heroes Awards for my work with The Kids’ Cancer Project. I am passionate about raising funds through any organisation and have always being in awe of the work of Cancer Council.

I have been dancing with Plie since the age of five training in all aspects of dance & cheer and have been an assistant teacher for the past 5 years. Since completing my dance HSC last year, I was welcomed to the official teaching team with Plie, teaching 6 days a week across all of our 3 campuses. I have competed at State and National levels annually since 2012 and was part of both the Sydney Regional and NSW State Dance Ensembles and was selected to be a featured dancer at the Schools Spectacular. In 2015 I was lucky enough to attend a Dance Tour in America and danced in the Disneyland Parade, California Adventure Park and Hollywood as well as attending local workshops. I have been awarded ‘Most Outstanding Female Performer’ in my solo comp days and was selected by Jason Coleman personally to receive a scholarship to his Ministry of Dance in Melbourne. I am currently part of his MODStar program.
