Jessica Rouse is a full time journalist at @ The Coalface Magazine.
@ The Coalface is the voice of the coal mining industry and its people. Their free industry and community magazine is proud to share the inspiring and real stories of regional coal mining communities in New South Wales. Delivering a combination of industry news and insights coupled with the human stories that make our communities and industry so compelling is what they are all about.
Jess also works casually as a journalist at Triple M and Hit 106.9 and is a freelance writer and emcee, having led charity events, NSW Mining Careers Evenings, Muswellbrook and Singleton Business Awards, Q and A sessions with a number of authors and community champions at events, weddings, business events and forums.

When I worked in Muswellbrook I worked closely with the Cancer Council team that were based in Singleton promoting events, services and health initiatives. I have always supported the Cancer Council where I could and have fond memories of my mum buying daffodils each and every year in memory of my grandfather who we sadly lost to cancer in the early 2000s.”
