When the opportunity to join the Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer 2024 presented itself, I couldn’t resist. Cancer has touched my family, and if I can contribute by showcasing my (admittedly questionable) dance moves, count me in! Learning from a professional dancer? Well, that’s a dream come true. As the Director of Recruitment Operations at 360HR Solutions since March 2021, my role extends beyond mere staffing. I’m on a mission to ensure businesses in the Illawarra region are not just staffed but filled with passionate individuals who love what they do. Working alongside my energetic team, I find joy in matching talent with opportunity. Now, let’s talk dance! The beat of the '60s, '70s, or a '90s anthem—bring it on! My playlist spans from Boney M to The Beatles (yes, you can absolutely dance to their tunes!). While my dance moves have mostly graced social events and birthday parties, I’m thrilled to take them to a larger audience. Hailing from Lancashire, I’ve called Australia home since 2005. The Illawarra region has captured my heart since 2007, where I share my life with my wife, Joanne, our three sons, and our beloved dog-child, Cruz. Off the dance floor, you’ll find me cheering for Manchester United (football is life!), and yes, I take my Fantasy Premier League team way too seriously—I’m in the top 3% worldwide! But wait, there’s more! Hand me a fishing rod and a free day, and I’m off to relive cherished childhood memories. My grandad and I used to fish the canals, rivers, and lakes of the North of England. These days, I find solace trout fishing in the Snowy Mountains, especially when accompanied by my sons. So, whether it’s dancing, recruiting, or angling, I’m all in—ready to make a splash!
