JOSH ROSE
Josh Rose is the current owner of Rose Football Academy which helps develop the next generation of footballers on the Central Coast.
Josh played professional football for 18 years and the sport took him to different parts of the world, playing for clubs in Australia, New Zealand and even spending 4 years in Romania.
Throughout this period Josh played a total of 416 professional games, most notably 206 games for the Central Coast Mariners over 7 seasons with the club. Josh was part of the club’s premiership season in 2011/12, and part of the clubs first ever A-League championship win in 2013.
While dancing is most definitely not a strong point for Josh, the opportunity to have some fun and support Cancer Council was an easy decision for a number of reasons -
Josh’s family has been directly affected by Cancer, and there are also members of Rose Football Academy that are currently undergoing cancer treatment.
Knowing that the funds raised will directly support services for local Central Coast families has helped Josh’s decision to get involved in Stars of the Central Coast.
Josh will be dancing 2000’s with Mariah Sumner!
