Katherine Listkow can build a marketing strategy, wrangle two kids and two dogs, and make a reasonably convincing case that she can sing. Dancing is where her confidence runs out.
A Brand Warrior and Strategist at Paradox Agency, Katherine returned to her hometown of Coffs Harbour in 2021 after years living in Melbourne, Brisbane, New Zealand and beyond. She’s a storyteller and people person whose marketing career has spanned major brands, local businesses and community organisations.
Now she’s becoming the third Paradox team member to take on Stars of Coffs Coast. There’s a proud workplace tradition to continue, plus a little friendly competition.
Her motivation, though, is much more personal. In 2024, Katherine’s best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, undergoing a double mastectomy and more than a year of chemotherapy. Watching someone she loves endure treatment left Katherine with a lasting appreciation for support, community and organisations like Cancer Council.
She also wants her two daughters to see that giving back sometimes means doing something that scares you, particularly in front of people you know.
Two left feet, a competitive streak and a very good reason to dance.
