Cancer in recent years has been a big part of our family. I lost my dad and several close friends to various forms of cancer. Hardest of all has been supporting my husband as he dealt with a rare form of sarcoma cancer. Why do Dancing with the Stars ? I'd like to think I can bring further awareness and raise some funds, all while challenging myself and having a great time. Hope you can support me reaching my goal. Thank you in advance. Originally from Melbourne, I have lived in Sydney
since 1999. I live in Clontarf and spend a lot of time swimming, sailing and surfing with the family around the beaches. I’m married with two children, Son Tyler 21 and my daughter Jade 17 ½. I work as a Consultant and Team Leader for Thermomix® and lead a
team of wonderful consultants all working around Sydney but many locally around the lower north shore and northern beaches of Sydney. I've always loved to dance, and performed as a young girl. I
wouldn’t say I was the best dancer but I did enjoy it. These days I'm probably a bit clunky. I’m excited about seeing this event through to November. Can't wait to see how much I can fund raise. As for the lead up to the big night, I will do my best, but on the night I imagine I will be extremely nervous. The timing is perfect for me now as I need something new and challenging, after
recently losing my mum.
I challenge my team and my kids all the time to try new things, and to step outside their
comfort zone, so this will be such a good example for them all. Thank you for your support in advance.
