Originally from Kurrajong at the base of the Blue Mountains, Lois moved here back in 1992 with her young family.
She started her Real Estate business when she had 2 young children back in 2002 as a way to provide income and also flexibility for bringing up her children as a single parent.
Her father passed away in 1994 after a long, horrible battle with throat cancer that eventually engulfed his whole body. She has had several close friends since then also battle with varying cancers and only recently lost a close friend. When she was asked to become part of Ballina Stars she didn’t hesitate. Mind you she is not sure if she is much of a dancer, but she will certainly give it her best to support this great cause.
She feels we all have a responsibility to do more to support cancer research and those living with cancer. She loves working and living in the Ballina Shire and is looking forward to raising much needed support for ongoing research and support for those living with cancer.
Lois has been a sponsor and supporter of many local organizations including Lennox Head Public School with the Buckett of Books Awards and the Lennox Head Alstonville Surf Life Saving Club.
