Meet Mat, the vibrant salon manager and one of the senior stylists at Hairhouse, adding a touch of creativity and flair to the world of hairstyling. Mat's dedication to the craft earned him the prestigious title of Creative Artist of the Year in 2023, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of trends, techniques, and products.
Outside the salon, Mat's life is a blend of socializing, relaxation, and personal growth. Catching up with friends over a few beverages or a meal is a favourite pastime. Mat enjoys the simple pleasures of reading, indulging in coffee, staying active with pilates, and cherishing moments with his family.
Mat's excitement reaches new heights as he gears up for the Stars of the Border competition. Eager to contribute to a noble cause by raising funds for Cancer Council. Mat is ready to step out of his comfort zone and learn the art of dancing. Having witnessed the remarkable work of doctors, nurses, and staff in the region, Mat is passionate about making a meaningful impact to those affected by cancer.
Looking forward to the journey ahead, Mat is excited about meeting new people, building, and strengthening relationships within the community. Mat is poised to bring his unique energy and talents to the dance floor for a cause that is close to his heart.

Thank you for everyone who supported me on my second movie night.

I am so very grateful that you gave up some of your free time, to come and support me in achieving my goal with stars of the border.

Again I am humbled listening to your stories of loved ones, family and friends. What they have had or are going through makes me more determined.
