Matt Brkic

Matt is the Chief Electrical Supervisor and Installer at Shoalhaven Gates & Electrical, where his responsibilities span from new installations and electrical fault-finding to client relations and team leadership. He enjoys working alongside a great team and handling complex electrical tasks, always striving to provide the best service from the initial quote to job completion. His hands-on approach and passion for client satisfaction are what drive him every day.

Matt is participating in Stars of Nowra with a deep personal motivation — having lost both of his grandmothers to different types of cancer at a young age. Over the years, he’s closely followed the event’s success in raising funds for the Cancer Council and is eager to contribute to this important cause. He recognises how cancer touches everyone, whether directly or through loved ones, and hopes to play a part in bringing about a positive change for those affected.

When he’s not leading electrical projects, Matt’s life is full of energy. A self-taught drummer, he’s toured the East Coast with various bands and knows firsthand the joy that music and dancing can bring to a room. Though he’s not a seasoned dancer, he’s up for the challenge and brings his bubbly, social personality to every situation. Whether it’s dancing to a pub rock anthem or taking on crazy sports activities with his loving wife, Rhiannon and two young boys, Ably and Percy, Matt embraces life with enthusiasm. His adventure in Stars of Nowra is sure to be a blast—where the energy and fun of the night will keep everyone dancing!
