My role is to oversee Supported Accommodation for people living with Disabilities. I love my job because everyday is different and I am constantly learning new things.
I love that I can help people in so many different ways and am able to give people voices and advocate for them when they may not be able to themselves. Supporting people to be empowered, live life to fullest and feel comfortable in their own skin.
I had a colleague who was part of the show last year and I was nominated by my colleagues – when you are given an opportunity like this, you should definitely take it!
Dancing is definitely not my strength. I just need to keep remembering that it’s for a good cause and not a professional competition haha!
If I could dance with anyone, I would probably choose Michael Jackson, this is almost exclusively because he’s such a good dancer and would make me look amazing!
