Hi, I’m Monique…more commonly known as Mon.
I feel honoured to have been asked to participate in Dancing with the Stars as an opportunity do what I can in helping those that have been touched by cancer. Dancing is not my game (other than out with mates & in the lounge room with the dog) – so whilst this won’t be easy for me and being centre stage will be way out of my comfort zone, it doesn’t even touch the sides of what those impacted by cancer go through so it’s the very least I can do.
I can usually be found about the place barefoot on the beach, or in boots with the horse – but dancing shoes in a rehearsal studio is where you’ll find me until the big night!
I feel like my horse could pick up dance steps quicker than I will, but I will be giving it a go and appreciate your support along the way in contributing vital funds to the Cancer Council’s world class research, prevention, advocacy and support programs.
