Monte La Vin

Stars of The North 2024

Hello! My name is Monte, and I am thrilled to share my story with you.

Originally born in Sydney, I spent my formative years exploring the stunning beaches of the Gold Coast. Growing up in such a vibrant coastal environment instilled in me a deep love for the ocean and a passion for surfing. There's something truly magical about riding the waves and immersing myself in nature's beauty.

After my adventurous teenage years on the Gold Coast, I eventually found my calling in the construction industry. As a remedial builder, I have dedicated myself to restoring and enhancing the structural integrity of buildings, ensuring they stand the test of time. It's a rewarding profession that allows me to combine my love for problem-solving with practical craftsmanship.

Despite my busy schedule in Sydney, I always make time to indulge in my passion for surfing and outdoor activities. Whether it's catching waves at sunrise or hiking along rugged coastal trails, being outdoors rejuvenates my spirit and brings me immense joy. Now, I'm embarking on a new journey—a fundraising campaign aimed at making a positive impact in our community.

With your support, I hope to raise funds for The Cancer Council. Together, we can make a difference and create lasting change. Join me in making waves—both in the water and on the dancefloor. Your contribution will not only support a worthy cause but also help fulfil my lifelong commitment to giving back to the places and people that have shaped me. Thank you for considering supporting my fundraising efforts. Together, we can build a brighter future for generations to come.
Warm regards,

Thank you to my Sponsors

As you know Monte I’m a fabulous dancer who could’ve easily made dancing my career were it not for the intervention of Anton and you arriving on the scene. Watch Scent of a Woman - I taught Bob de Niro everyhing he knows. Good luck😎

David Assad

Well done Monte! Wishing you luck for your dancing performance. I know you'll be busting out your best moves for this great cause. Don't worry if you trip over your own feet - just pretend you're surfing on stage! And please, for the love of god, don't try to rap. We don't need any 'sick beats' about 'catching waves and fighting cancer'... we've suffered enough! Good luck, and see you at the after-party!

Nice work Rondizzle! All those Friday nights at the blue light disco after a bottle of passion pop have really come in handy here!

Alex Brown

Brendon Jones

Good luck! D
