Nathan Carson

Nathan is the Managing Director of South Coast Therapy and Support Group (Shoalhaven Occupational Therapy), where he oversees the daily operations, financial management, and recruitment for the allied health practice. With a passion for making a positive impact, Nathan thrives on the diversity of his role, balancing strategic decision-making with hands-on management. He loves the tangible difference his work makes, particularly in supporting local businesses and the community. 

Nathan is participating in Stars of Nowra to honour the memory of family members he and his wife Claire have lost to cancer. This personal connection drives his dedication to a cause that supports the Shoalhaven region, and he is excited to contribute to making a real, lasting difference in the lives of people affected by cancer. 

Outside of work, Nathan has a fun and adventurous side. He was once crowned Shoalhaven’s Air Guitar Champion in 2003, and he’s an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping and bushwalking to recharge. Nathan’s ideal dance partner? His wife Claire, whose unwavering support makes her the perfect match for him, both on and off the dance floor. As he embarks on this exciting challenge, Nathan is looking forward to pushing himself out of his comfort zone and rediscovering the joy of dancing. He’s ready to give it his all, all while raising funds for an incredible cause, proving that stepping up to dance can make a huge difference.
