As Health Reporter, I’m privileged to speak with and share the heartbreaking cancer journeys of Illawarra/South Coast families every day. Walking a mile in someone else’s shoes is a big part of my role and being trusted to relay the most difficult time in a local family’s life is so special. Anything more I can do to help find cures for cancers to improve quality of life and extend time spent with loved ones, is what’s important to me and the sole motivation for joining Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer. I’m proud to be a Reporter employed at WIN News – the world's largest privately owned regional television network. My job involves sourcing, interviewing, scripting and packaging stories for a bulletin, broadcast each weeknight. The most rewarding aspect is being part of facilitating change the community wants to see – no matter how small…. Telling stories that matter most to those who matter most. Three interesting facts about me are… In my free time I like to sew clothing, I have 33 first cousins and I’m almost always fashionably late (except to work).
