Paul Ell

Paul is a Solicitor at RMB Lawyers, the largest firm in Regional NSW, specialising in estate planning and property law. He takes great pride in providing tailored legal advice and drafting essential documents like Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Enduring Guardianship. What he enjoys most about his work is meeting clients, hearing their stories, and knowing his efforts bring comfort during difficult times. Until recently Paul served as a Councillor on Shoalhaven City Council representing Ward 2. Paul was also proud to serve for a year as the Deputy Mayor. Since leaving Council, he has remained an active member of the Shoalhaven community.  

Paul’s motivation for joining Stars of Nowra Dance for Cancer comes his long-standing connection with the Cancer Council, where he’s contributed to their Probono Wills program, helping those undergoing cancer treatment or in palliative care. The loss of his dear colleague, Tracy Thompson, to ovarian cancer in 2021, further deepened his desire to support cancer research and raise awareness. This dance journey is his way of honouring Tracy’s memory and giving back to a cause that has deeply impacted his life and family. 

Though Paul is nervous about dancing, he’s determined to give it his best, especially with the guidance of his teacher. While his dance experience is limited, he enjoys hitting the floor at weddings or nights out, especially to the tunes of Elton John, Whitney Houston, and ABBA. Outside of dancing, Paul loves musicals, ocean liners, and his energetic Corgi, Reggie, who might just inspire a fun spin in his routine. Paul is excited for this adventure, dancing for a cause that matters so much to him.
