I am joining the 2023 production of Stars of Tamworth Dance for Cancer to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.

Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m bringing everyone together to show off my dance moves all to raise funds and show my support.

Dancing for Lynnie (mum)

Hi there, I'm Shonnah or as most will know me as shonny 

I'm the store manager for Sports craft in Tamworth where have worked for the past 12years.
I am also the owner and operator and all-round balloon lady at Shonnys balloon art.

I haven't done dance classes since I was a child, but my family friends and work mate will tell you I do love to bust some moves when the tunes come on. 
I was born and raised in Tamworth along with my younger brother and sister,
over the years I have been involved in many events and charity days including Mchappy day, sporting events donations for local events and recently becoming an official sponsor of our local baseball team The Cougars  



The reason I'M doing this.
In early 2020 my Lyn was diagnosed with cancer of the uterus 
 it was a very short battle as she was put into Nioka at the end of June 2020 and passed away on the 10th of July. It was the hardest thing to see someone you love to suffer with so much pain 


I attended the event last year just by coincidence a friend had a spare ticket it was a great night and knew this was a sign that I dance this year.

Tonight, I'm dancing for my mum Lynnie,

And, for my friends who have lost someone or have a loved one going through this battle now
