Representing: Penrith Valley ChamberStacey is someone who believes deeply in growth through challenge, which is exactly why she said yes to Stars of Penrith. Even though the idea of performing on stage “scares the bejeezus” out of her, she knows that stepping into discomfort is where the magic happens. And after spending countless hours watching East and West Coast Swing videos, she’s excited to finally learn how to dance like the performers she’s been admiring.
This year’s journey holds a very personal meaning for Stacey. She is dancing in honour of her beautiful mum, who passed away from ovarian cancer less than a year ago. Her mum adored Dancing With the Stars and spent years Rock ’n’ Roll dancing, it was one of her great joys. Stacey knows her mum would absolutely love that she’s taking on this challenge, and that makes every step even more special.
Going into the competition, Stacey’s biggest strength is her sense of fun. She brings playfulness, joy, and a touch of silliness to everything she does, a perfect combination for dance rehearsals and show night.
With her heart, humour, and her mum’s spirit guiding her, Stacey is ready to step onto the stage, embrace the moment, and dance for a cause that means the world to her.
