Introducing Dr. Talat Uppal
A dedicated Gynaecologist and Director of Women’s Health Road, specialising in managing Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB). Dr. Uppal's commitment led to the establishment of Australia's first abnormal uterine hub and her leadership as CEO of the Bleed Better Initiative, promoting awareness of heavy menstrual bleeding. Alongside her clinical role, she serves as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University and holds pivotal leadership positions in healthcare. Supporting General Practitioners in women's health, she also acts as a spokesperson for RANZCOG.
Driven by a passion for positive change, Dr. Uppal joins the Stars of the North Dance for Cancer 2024, embracing the opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and dance for a noble cause. Swapping her scrubs for dancing shoes, she contributes to the fight against cancer, believing in our collective ability to create a cancer-free future!
