Tania Jones is a highly respected ESG and Sustainability Executive with more than 25 years of experience working across global organisations, management consulting, community engagement, and largescale transformation. Known for her authenticity, positive energy, and deep sense of purpose, Tania is driven by one mission: helping people connect with something bigger than themselves.
In her current role as Manager of Sustainable Market Development at Green Gravity, Tania works at the forefront of Australia’s renewable energy transition — opening new markets, building strategic relationships, and shaping the company’s ESG position. She also gives back through governance and mentorship as a NonExecutive Director at The Flagstaff Group, i3net, Hi Neighbour and as a mentor to emerging STEM leaders.
Tania’s motivation for joining Stars of Wollongong – Dance for Cancer is deeply personal. She lost her beloved mum Dot to cancer 21 years ago and treasures the joyful childhood memories of performing mini dance shows in the lounge room with her two sisters — the ultimate trio, complete with costume changes, harmonies, and big dreams. Dancing in Stars feels like a tribute to her mum, a celebration of sisterhood, and a chance to honour all the families touched by cancer.
Going into the competition, Tania’s greatest strength is her unwavering sense of purpose and her ability to bring people with her. She leads with heart, courage, and collaboration — the same qualities she’ll bring to the dance floor. Is she nervous? Only about the full theatre — but she’s more excited than anything to channel this moment for impact and Dance for Dot !
Fun Facts About Tania
The Cassar sisters once ran full “livingroom concerts” for parents Dot and Ron — with eldest daughter Tania as the unofficial creative director.
Has been known to organise a PCYC Blue Light Disco for local kids; war-cry and support group for PNG’s first Female Orchids Ruby League Team; and Alumni College 150 Anniversary fundraiser.
She’s passionate about mentoring young professionals and helping people connect with their WHY.
What to Expect on the Night
If you know Tania, you know she doesn’t do things by halves – small but mighty. Guests might just be treated to a mini “Tania Eras Tour” — a performance that nods to the chapters that shaped her: family, purpose, courage, and community. Expect intention, heart, and storytelling with a little sparkle when she Dances for Dot.
