Hi, I'm Tania

When Anne from the Cancer Council invited me to participate in STARS of Northern Rivers, I experienced and internal freak out moment! 

"But Anne, I have zero rhythm and CAN'T dance!"

As the importance of this fundraiser sunk in, the terrified me recognised that 4 minutes of onstage embarrassment was negligible compared with the pain and discomfort that many people I love have endured.

Cancer has impacted the life of family, friends and people in my community. Some have tragically lost their battle, while courageous survivors live each day to the full. 

Research, education and early detection are critical to eradicating this disease and I hope to raise funds to accelerate the vital efforts of the Cancer Council.

I've been paired with gorgeous Danielle, a creative performer who's helping me tap into my inner Disco Diva. 

On behalf people who've lost their battle with cancer and those living with this indiscriminate disease, I pledge my two-left-feet to raise essential funds for future support.

ABOUT TANIA

Tania Usher, founder of Australian Tourism Award winning Blue Ginger Picnics and multi-award winning My Daily Chai, ’fell’ into the arms of entrepreneurship unexpectedly.

After several tragic and life-changing events, Tania made a decision that transformed her life.  While many suggested her actions were foolish, especially as the sole provider of her then 2 and 4 year old daughters, an unstinting faith in her abilities propelled Tania to go into business for herself. After running her global digital marketing agency for many years, Tania turned her attention to local.

Launching in 2017, Blue Ginger Picnics is the highest awarded tourism operator in Northern NSW and connects visitors to the region with over 40 local producers, farmers and businesses. My Daily Chai is Australia’s first 100% organic, superfood chai brand that support women’s hormone health.

The tenacious and multi-passionate Tania believes a key barrier stopping many people from reaching the success they crave, is self-doubt.

As a self-confessed “dance-floor disaster” Tania is facing her own doubt by stepping outside her comfort zone to participate in STARS of Northern Rivers.
