Terri Murphy | St.George Bank
Terri Murphy grew up loving ballet, jazz and tap. More than 30 years since her last dance class, she’s dusting off those skills for a cause close to her heart.
A Customer Service Officer at St.George Bank on Harbour Drive, Terri moved from Sydney to the Coffs Coast almost 25 years ago. Away from work, she enjoys cooking, travelling and life with her husband and their two French Bulldogs, who keep them active and entertained. She also spent more than 40 years as a member of the Rural Fire Service, giving her time to help others in her community.
Terri has seen cancer affect several people she loves. Friends have faced breast cancer, a cousin died from bowel cancer, and more recently, her sister-in-law has been going through colon cancer. These experiences have made her determined to support research and raise awareness.
With a fundraising goal of $25,000 for Cancer Council NSW, Terri is giving her return to dancing a very clear purpose. She’s hoping a few familiar steps come back to her, preferably without anything too energetic.
