I'm participating in Stars of Hastings because I love a challenge, but most of all I love supporting the community and good causes.
I can not dance at all, but I love a good competition and I am excited to learn something new and raise money for Cancer Council.A bit about me - I am the current manager at Settlers Inn. I have worked my way through the ranks from casual to functions, assistant manager, operations manager and now general manager.
I am also the mum to a very energetic three-year-old.
I love spending time with my family, playing sport and keeping busy.

STEPPING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE!!
I’m super pumped, even though dancing isn’t exactly my thing. Can you even dance with two left feet? Guess we’re gonna find out! What really got me excited is the chance to help a cause that’s close to my heart. In 2017, life threw me a curveball with a cancer diagnosis - ovarian and cervical. It was tough, challenging and a long journey. When I was going through it all, the one thing that kept me going was the fight to become a mum. I am now blessed to have a beautiful healthy and busy boy Archie! It seems like every other day, you hear about someone else having to face cancer, and it just hits way too close to home.
Dancing’s definitely not my forte, but I’m all in for a challenge, especially when it’s for an amazing cause like this. Fundraising, raising awareness, and maybe showing off my not-so-great dance moves? I’m here for it. Let’s do this and make some noise for the Cancer Council.
