We are a member school of the highly respected Australian Teachers Of Dancing (ATOD) and our exam students earn internationally recognised qualifications. We seek to create an inclusive dance community and offer classes catering to children as young as 18 months right through to Adults.
Cherie started dancing at the age of 4 and has never looked back. Under the tutelage of Dorothy Long and Frances Lett, she learnt many different styles of dance and gained valuable skills that later led her to being Assistant Choreographer with Robyn Bourke. She gradually took over the reins from Robyn and since then, Cherie has been responsible for the choreography of many shows . Her most recent work was with the production of Shout! The Legend of the Wild One, which was hugely successful with big, bold, amazing dance numbers. Cherie’s speciality is working with the “Average Joe” who has never danced before and has limited skills. Being able to create fantastic dances with the philosophy ‘keep it simple stupid!’
