Christy is passionate about bringing people together. As a Sponsorship and Business Development Manager, she thrives on creating meaningful partnerships, building strong networks, and connecting the right people to achieve great outcomes. Known for her energy, authenticity and relationship-first approach, Christy has become a trusted connector across the Hunter business community.

A devoted mum of two and proud wife to Troy, Christy balances her professional life with family, friends, soccer, travel and making the most of life's fun moments. She is also actively involved with the Hunter Women in Business Network and Newcastle Business Club, where she helps support local businesses and foster collaboration across the region.

When asked to be part of Stars of Newcastle, Christy saw an opportunity to use her connections and enthusiasm to make a real difference. Cancer has touched the lives of people close to her, including her young nephew, who was diagnosed with cancer at just one year old. Watching loved ones face such difficult challenges reinforced the importance of organisations like Cancer Council and the support they provide to families during their toughest times.

While stepping onto the dance floor may take her outside her comfort zone, Christy is embracing the challenge wholeheartedly. For her, Stars is about giving back, bringing people together for a great cause, and using her network, determination and community spirit to help raise vital funds for those affected by cancer.
