Cancer touches so many lives, and unfortunately, we all know someone who has been affected-whether it's a friend, a colleague, or a loved one.
I’m fundraising for the Cancer Council because of the incredible support they provide to families facing cancer treatment. The work they do for those undergoing treatment and their families is nothing short of amazing. I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and dancing for those who can’t, to help raise funds that go directly to the families who need it most.
Through events like this, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of the Cancer Council’s work, and I want to help ensure they can continue supporting those in need. Every dollar raised is a step towards providing critical services, research, and assistance for those fighting cancer.

Why I am here
I’m super excited to be part of Stars of Coffs Coast Dance for Cancer! I’ve supported Cancer Council fundraisers before and have seen firsthand how the money raised goes directly to helping families going through cancer. The support they offer-whether it’s transport, accommodation, or just being there for families in need- is incredible. If I can contribute even a little by raising funds to help those facing such a tough time, I’m all for it. Cancer affects so many of us, and I’m proud to do my part to support such an important cause. Now let's all hope my hips can survive the fun of learning a dance!
