Alicia Smith is the owner and creative force behind The Social Flip, where she helps businesses ditch the cookie-cutter content and start showing up on social media in a way that actually works. With 19 years of experience in marketing—from corporate to not-for-profits—Alicia is all about turning overwhelm into strategy, and turning strategy into content that connects.
Now based in Coffs Harbour after a sun-drenched stint in Cairns, Alicia juggles business life with her role as a mum of three, wife to one very patient husband, and leader of a camping-mad adventure crew.
She’s stepping up (and out onto the dancefloor!) to support families facing cancer—something she’s seen the impact of firsthand. Whether it’s through a reel, a routine, or a fundraising goal, Alicia’s passion for storytelling and support shines through. Let’s just say… if anyone can flip the script on dancing for a cause, it’s her!

Why I am here
I’m super excited to be part of Stars of Coffs Coast Dance for Cancer! I’ve supported Cancer Council fundraisers before and have seen firsthand how the money raised goes directly to helping families going through cancer. The support they offer-whether it’s transport, accommodation, or just being there for families in need- is incredible. If I can contribute even a little by raising funds to help those facing such a tough time, I’m all for it. Cancer affects so many of us, and I’m proud to do my part to support such an important cause. Now let's all hope my hips can survive the fun of learning a dance!
