Andrew Bulman | Hansen Yuncken
Born and raised in Albury, Andrew is proud to call the community home. He is married with two energetic boys aged 12 and 11 who keep life busy and full. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys watching the AFL (go the Sydney Swans!), camping, motorbike riding, kicking the footy with his boys and spending quality time with friends and family.
He began his career as a carpentry apprentice and spent 15 years in the trade before moving into construction management. He is now the site manager for Hansen Yuncken, currently overseeing the Albury Wodonga Hospital upgrade.
Cancer has personally impacted Andrew’s family, and becoming a Star felt like a meaningful way to support others facing the same battle. It also gives him the chance to challenge himself, step outside his comfort zone, and show his kids the importance of giving back and having the courage to do things that feel uncomfortable but truly matter.
A few fun facts about Andrew: he can organise a complex job site but somehow still loses his tape measure; he rides a Harley Davidson, and he’s far more comfortable in steel caps than dance shoes. Andrew is looking forward to meeting new people, rallying for a great cause, and having fun, with a fundraising goal of $30,000.
