Hi I'm Brooke!
Would you rather (a) run a marathon or (b) dance the salsa in front of 500 people? Many of you reading this would answer with an emphatic neither, no, nada, not happening, no way, not for me. Well for me it’s an emphatic YES. To both! Maybe its that I am Gen Z and love a good smashed avo, or that I was born during the year Cathy Freeman won the Olympics, or maybe that goggling Formula 1 is my favourite past time, but my need for speed has led me to embrace both challenges in 2024. Sprinkle in that I finished a masters of Physio and started a new job this year and am now working with the best team you would ever want to meet. It is an honour to shoot for the stars and raise money for cancer. If I asked you to raise your hand if you know someone, on a deep level, that has been touched by cancer, I guarantee there wouldn’t be anyone twiddling their thumbs. So…if we can do anything, something, to help kick cancer to the kerb, in the words of one of the most recognised brands in the world. Just do it!
