Hi, I’m Caitlin.
Through my work as a veterinary behavioral consultant, and a general practitioner of veterinary medicine, I meet people and pets from all walks of life. As a vet I empathise with the heartbreak my clients feel seeing their much loved pets in pain. I believe that whether it's animals or people, we all feel the suffering of our loved ones deeply.
Like many people here, my family has been affected by cancer. Unfortunately my story isn’t unique, or we wouldn't have the community we do fundraising for this event. As we know from the statistics, In our lifetimes cancer is something likely to affect all of us whether directly or indirectly.
For me dance has always been a safe haven from difficult times, where I have found friendship and peace of mind. When this opportunity came up, I jumped at the chance to share this passion with other people whilst raising money for a cause that is close to my heart.
I’ve recently started working in North Sydney, and have felt so welcomed by the lovely community. I look forward to connecting with other like minded people so we can move towards one day putting an end to cancer.
