Cancer absolutely SUCKS. There isn't a person that has not been impacted directly, or indirectly by cancer. I wish to raise as much funds as possible to support research into an eventual cure for cancer, and support for the families and those diagnosed and fighting the toughest battle life can throw at us. I know times are tough, but I appeal to anybody and everybody, no matter how small or large, every dollar helps and any donation would be greatly appreciated.My Updates
A Massive Thank you
Well, the 100km in 5 days walk for Cancer is finally completed, and I cannot begin to put into words how humbled, appreciative and thankful I am to each and every person, business and sponsor who donated to the cause. Going into Day 5, we crashed through the $10,000 amount I set myself to raise as part of my Stars of Tamworth journey. I honestly set this target as high as I did to keep giving me motivation to fundraise and strive to be better. To hit the mark six weeks out from our big night of nights, very grateful and this simply did not happen without your generosity and support. Once again, THANK YOU
Progress Report #2
The time is flying by and we are now less than 10 weeks out from Stars of Tamworth, the night of nights we have all been training and practicing so much for. In 12 days, Monday July 20th I am taking on my major fundraising challenge, I will walk 100km across 5 days around Tamworth, Monday to Friday starting at 7am each morning. I still have some sponsorship lap opportunities available, and I welcome any and all donations of all sizes. Every dollar makes a difference and any donation directly to this page sees you receive a tax invoice for your financial records. I know this 100km walk is going to destroy me physically, and I am here for it. But it would ease the physical pain knowing I am raising funds for supporting those with a cancer diagnosis. If I survive the walk, I have some fun fundraising opportunities occurring in August as well. Until then, thank you again to each and every person who has supported by efforts up to now, but the business end is in front of us and I will not stop until I hit my target of $10k at the bare minimum.
