Meet Jebb Hutchison, Owner of TVN on Country
Meet Jebb, a proud Wiradjuri man originally from Hillston, New South Wales, now residing on a property near Wodonga with his wife Ash and their five children aged from four to 13.
From humble beginnings as a small business operator, Jebb has combined his community leadership skills and business acumen to grow Wodonga-based building company TVN On-Country into an award-winning construction and project management business employing 60 people.
Jebb works to strengthen relationships and create opportunities for Indigenous businesses so that Indigenous youth have positive role models to aspire to. In 2022 he realised a long-held dream to establish not-for-profit employment and careers pathways program – On-Country Pathways - for young First Nations people.
Jebb loves to prank people and suspects his work colleagues were getting one back on him by putting him forward for Stars of the Border.
Several of Jebb’s staff have been directly impacted by cancer or have a family member going through treatment. It’s why he is passionate about supporting this cause.
Jebb’s personal and business mantra is ‘together we are stronger’ which he is also applying to his dancing partnership with professional dancer Tayla Johnson.
